I watched the kids in their excitement as they wondered through their solar glasses on what exactly is happening to the sun. I tried to answer the best way a could. I tried to photograph accordingly without professional equipment as I didn't want to risk frying a sensor in my DSLR cameras.

The sun changed, the air got cooler and the color changes in the atmosphere were something like the twilight zone. This was something different to reflect on from the normal day to day (especially for a Monday) All in all I there was a sense of difference as My kiddos and I sat next to some people we knew and others that we didn't, discussing how amazing it is to be a part of something on this ordinary day. Just looking around and hearing the voices exclaim their favorite parts of the change was more than I expected from the eclipse. In an instant in my heart I thought how so many people just like us all slowed down, or even stopped in that moment. We all looked to the heavens to witness a rare but beautiful not so ordinary occurrence. It is moments like these that define people who are no longer strangers but defines our unity, our likeness that we see in another. We are all under the same sun, the same moon.
I am blessed to see more than just the sun hiding for a few minutes but to witness the fellowship, how we join in days to enjoy our experiences on Earth!

Feel Playing in creeks, following the sun and seeing so many smiles is enough to effect change. Change in the way you see details and how closely you pay attention to the things we call life.  Busy season  with sessions is in full swing and we are about to switch up to the Fall Mode pretty soon. We here in the Carwile home are transitioning out of Summer mode and back into school mode. So yeah I am passing myself coming and going. This new website also needed to go up and I feel like the little one in the creek, soak and wet but full of life. I decided to start blogging and letting you in on a little bit of me that goes into this photography life.
