About Me
I enjoy life as it happens and seeing the details, most pass through. I live hard, love hard, and play like there is no tomorrow. Photography fits me perfectly. I am a sucker for an adventure, especially if it ends at the waters edge. Life is beautiful and I create imagery of our lives to convey emotion and connections that can be felt by those in the image and felt by the viewer. We all have a purpose and I do believe mine is to adore the moments we won't get to have back but can relive in photos. Let me get started telling your story, the real life sorta thing.

My senior year we had a report to do about what we wanted to do with our future. I wrote about the obvious choice of being a nurse to help people. My Senior English teacher, Lydia Grimes, asked me what I "really wanted to do". I was taken back by her question but deep down knew she could read right through me. I told her "I want to be a photographer" She told me then write about that, go be that! You are meant to help people but not in a nurse way, something else calls you. My heart and destiny has been fulfilled and capturing life and all the love is where I am meant to be!

When I was 7 I started my own garden outside our apartment building, specifically bean sprouts. I was so proud of my little growing plants that I wanted to start photographing thier growth. I asked my mom for a camera and she gave me a disposable camera. She often developed my images so I could save them in an album. That is when I started to capture growth and appreciate the simplist of life. That is when I fell in love with a camera.
